Posted By Bill Dark Hi
Could anyone help out with some examples or templates for dive project plans or risk assessment forms. We have recently taken on a commercial diving section and we are reviewing their systems of work including their methodology for developing plans and assessments. It would be helpful to see how other people approach this.
Many thanks

Posted By Phil Bill,
The detail provided in the M/S and R/A all depend on the type of diving operation carried out. If its a simple dip to undertake a survey in benign waters, its quite simple. However, if you are deep (>30m say) cutting steel in black, tidal water then the document becomes quite thick. A generic basic dive plan is usually the basis, and its added to with the individual operations being carried out. Some dives have bottom time and decompression issues that require on site chambers etc and can be quite involved. Usually best to get the document checked by a third party with some diving knowledge, to make sure the technical aspects are OK
Regards
Phil
