Posted By Bob Shillabeer Well as a Welshman I think its agreat day for us mortals, Wales never really had a chance of qualifying so it was a case of freindlies all round really. Pitty tye manager has gone, who will be critisised next. The real game is on Saturday when Wales play South Africa, a fun game the result isnot really important but hopefully an entertaining game.

Posted By Glyn Atkinson England weren't good enough during the competition as a whole, and didn't deserve to go through with their plodding style of football.
As a fan, it hurts to admit the truth, but really, our slow build up style has been so predictable for so long, it makes me wince to watch it sometimes, so hopefully now that we are out, we may consider playing eager fit players who run, harrass, skilfully pass accurately and play as a team, not as strangers.
All our present lot can now confidently book next year's hols to spend their vast salaries!!

Posted By 9-Ship I hate football - what hacks me off, even though England are out - Hurrah, it will still be on the telly, hogging the screen for a month.
I think a campaign should be started against the TV companies not to show any of the naff compettition now England are out.
Overpaid bunch of wussies

Posted By Edward Shyer Apparently Tom Tom have recalled the new satellite navigation system as it cannot find England anywhere in Europe.
Heard a rumor that Steve McClaren is moving to Cleethorpes and taking over at Grimsby town. They have already invited him the Christmas party as a Pumpkin and are hoping to turn him into a coach.

Posted By David MacFarlane TRIBUTES are being paid to Scotland this morning after the entire country laughed itself to death. The alarm was first raised at around 10pm last night as thousands of phone calls and text messages went unanswered.
Small groups of volunteers from Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Carlisle ventured north just after midnight only to find houses full of dead people gathered around still blaring television sets. By dawn, as RAF helicopters flew over deserted city streets, it was clear that the whole country had suffered a catastrophic abdominal rupture.
Wayne Hayes, a special constable from Northumberland, said: "We went into one house in Dunbar and found three men sitting on the sofa with huge smiles on their faces, still holding cans of 70 shilling. They seemed to be at peace."

Posted By gorkir oh dear So England have failed to make Europe Take a look at you players, they are all very good players but dont perform for their country. Our office has started a sweep to see how long, once the 2008 championships start, it will it be before Motson mentions '66', and how England would have won the championships if they had qualified.
