Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience of the 'Certificate for Occupational Health and Safety' as issued in Australia and is it the equivalent of any of our courses/levels such as 'Managing Safely'?

It can be a liitle 'tricky' undertaking comparisons between qualifications in different countries, as I found when trying to help a colleague who was emigrating. However, the various British 'safety' organisations were extremely helpful (IOSH, RoSPA, BSC) and the QCA, although responses were not always consistent across the board.

Terry,
If you can e-mail me the details such as awarding body etc. we can run it through our checks for you.
IOSH use a database called the UK NARIC which undertakes qualification equivalence checks. You can approach them but we can assist for one qualifcation.
