I sit on the grants committee of a charity (CFFC) and we can't let a group have their funds until they have ticked all the safety boxes. The charity concerned collects vunerable people from their homes(elderly and disabled mainly) and drops them off at the supermarket, doctors, hospital and then gives them a safe ride home.

Has anyone got a safety info sheet or booklet for mini bus drivers they would let me crib from?

Don't know where you're located, but as a first step check whether your county council operates the MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, I think), or their own version of it. If the drivers have done MiDAS that should tick all the boxes - you'll probably find that the vehicle insurers insist on it anyway.

If you do a Google for MiDAS I think you'll find there's loads of driver safety tips available online for free (legitimately).

crib - is this another case of getting away with not using a competent person and cribbing will be OK

I advise getting a proper person on board to support

You would not crib from a solicitors / accountants guides etc so why do it re a H&S area - or am I just moaning?

Bob -
I've just remembered why I tend to limit my use of this forum.

Rob - It's a reasonable question.
