Posted By Anthony Hopkins I am looking at ensuring that our sub-contract scaffolders are following SG4:05 to the best practicable level and would like to be able to present some examples of the advanced handrail system that is detailed in the guidance to them.
Does anyone know of any suppliers of the handrails or even better used such systems ?
If so could you please give me some details.
Thanks
Anthony Hopkins

Posted By Garry Adams Anthony, May I suggest that you contact the Administration staff at www.nasc.org.ukThe National Access and Scaffolding Confederation publish a an Annual "Year Book", I noticed an Advert relating to the hand rail system you refer to, however I cannot recall the Company which supplies the system. Give nasc a call they will help you. Regards, Garry...

Posted By John Ellis There are a number of advanced scaffold handrail products available at the moment. I've seen quite a few demonstrations in a controlled environment. Although some of the Guardrails exhibited were quite good, some may create more problems in use, than ensuring the scaffolders are correctly using their fall arrest equipment. I suggest you talk to Safety and Access in Nottingham tel: 01159794523, one of the leading training companies in the work at height industry.
