My question from the study suppport forum...

Posted By Saracen11 Hi folks. Is the pass mark for the whole of the award 45% after adding the three papers together (paper 1 sections A,B & paper 2 section C) and dividing the result by 3? Or are you required to score 45% (or more) on each paper in order to pass the whole award? Does this make sense?
A quick answer is appreciated...
MODS - I'm aware this should be kept on the study bit but i'm not getting an answer.. please leave it on here (at least for a bit?)
Regards

Posted By Dave Todd The quick answer is No.
Never mind equations of variables.
Your best bet is to study. Learn the facts & figures.
Then sit the exam armed with knowledge. You're own learned knowledge.
You will pass if you do the graft. It's as simple as that............

Posted By Pete Longworth If you're talking about the Nebosh Diploma then you have to pass each unit individually.

Posted By Melanie Fellows If its the certificate, you need 45% for papers 1 & 2, then 60% for the practical.
