Posted By garyh Having worked on this in the past, I would say that in my opinion there can't be a template as such as the response depends very much on the activities you are doing, type of premises, workforce, locations etc. However are you looking for a checklist for a telephoned warning try this I found in 30 seconds on the web http://bombthreat.office...ol.co.uk/appendix_26.pdf

Posted By Martin Forbes Sorry i'll go into a bit more detail.
I work for an internation oil company, and am part of the UK QHSE team, it has been brought to our attention that the existing bomb threat information doesn't really cover much, and in this day and age of heightened alert we feel it's important to have a detailed policy in place.
We do not want a site specific procedure, we want to be able to have a generic procedure that details exactly what all staff are to do in the event of a bomb threat. As obviously standard evacuation procedures would not be a good idea in the event of a bomb threat, (ie 200 employees standing at an evacuation point outside the building)
So what im really looking for is something i could base our policy on, perhaps an existing procedure from a similar company.

Posted By Lilian McCartney am sending you a flowchart our local policy helped us with (at my last employers). It can be adapted and you can add written procedures to go along with it
