Posted By mark limon Im self studying for the fire cert,Ive bought the excellent "Introduction to Fire Safety Management"which contains all the information needed for the full course plus typical Nebosh questions at the end of each chapter.I hold the GC so only need to take the second part plus the practical.I live in Middlesbrough area and would appreciate any information about where I could take the exam as an external candidate.I have done a search on this site and found nothing relevant and found nothing on the Nebosh site either.Ive put it on here instead of the study support forum because this gets loads more traffic

Posted By Liesel I suggest you look on the Nebosh site at what centres do certificate courses in your neck of the woods and start ringing around them. That's pretty much what I did- I did the gen cert as an external candidate, the centre where I sat the exams proved so friendly and helpful I'm doing the diploma with them!
Be aware though, the external centres may charge you a fee to sit the exams there plus of course you have to pay your Nebosh exam fees yourself.
