Posted By Seano Is it a requirement to provide first aid training for field employees? (2 per team) who work at various locations?

Posted By Ron Hunter Seano,
This would be entirely dependant on the hazards they might encounter = risk assessment.

It depends where they are working in the "field". If they are never more than a few minutes away from a hospital or doctors surgery, then you could argue that the requirement to provide adequate first aid arrangements is covered. If they are here, there and everywhere, then basic appointed persons training and a travel sized first aid pack would suffice. Depending on what the tasks are, then it might be ok with just the first aid kit. Some company cars are now provided with First aid kits, but how many people need training to put a plaster on?
