I had an HSE Inspector on site for the day yesterday and It was a really positive experience. As usual we have a timetable to tighten up on a few issues-which I was aware of and had an action plan ready to share with the Inspector, but what struck me was how helpful she was and how she made me feel that I really was a competent person!
I know the HSE can get bad press so I wanted to share a good experience with you particularly as yesterday was one of those days when I was really glad that I do this job!

Hi Corrina,
We have had a couple of post-RIDDOR visits in the last couple of years, and they were also positive experiences. I think HSE Inspectors get a lot of unfair stick,
