Posted By edd Hi how long do you think it takes to take a long distance course to complete.
The course I mean is National Certificate NEBOSH, its around 120 hours.
Anybody know how long they have taken to complete the course?

Posted By Robert K Lewis At a day a week you are looking at around a quarter, ie 3 months. This is often our delivery method.

Posted By JonH Edd, distance learning courses take as long as you want them to take. I did my NEBOSH Cert in a taught two week block. I then did my NEBOSH Diploma distance learning. I think you get 4/5 years from registering to complete the Diploma, but I did the 3 exams and 3 assignments in 12 months and passed the course without a problem. I could have done 25% of the work and taken 4 years, but I wanted to crack on and get it done. If you have got the time and discipline to do the work and not get distracted by your work/mates/family/tv/gardening etc... then I found it to be a good way of learning. I will be starting a distance learning MSC either this September or next, and am thoroughly looking forward to it!!
