Can anybody tell me if there is an equivalent to our CDM regulations in Sweden?
I have just done a quick Google, but to no avail.
Thanks
Anthony

Hi Anthony,
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994, better known as ‘CDM’, came into effect on 31 March 1995. The Regulations were the UK Government's response to European Council Directive 92/57/EEC on the implementation of minimum safety and health requirements at Temporary or Mobile Construction Sites. The CDM 2007 regulations were an update on the 94 regs, where the Construction (Health, safety and welfare) regs 96 were removed and included within CDM2007. There were other changes, and more info can be found on the HSE website: http://www.hse.gov.uk/construction/cdm.htm
As Sweden are in the EU, I assume they have something similar to comply with the EC Directive.
Hope this helps.
Regards Jon

Thanks John,
I am looking for what the Swedish have/use to comply with the European Council Directive 92/57/EEC on the implementation of minimum safety and health requirements at Temporary or Mobile Construction Sites.
Thanks for the EC reference, is that refered to in L144? I could not see it as I know EC directives are often quoted in other ACoP's.

Thanks for that gents.
I have been trying to explain the ethos of CDM to some Swedish contractors and wanted to find out what regulations they work to in Sweden as a general comparison.
