Hi All,

I wonder if any one could recommend a training company who provides training course for Safety Committee Representative Training preferably around Milton Keynes area.

I know, trade unions offer such a courses for free but they only offer for union members and not for management staffs.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Baski

I would actually suggest if you are putting management staff on a safety committee u ensure he/she has a decent level of H&S Knowledge.

Why not see if he/she would be interested in going through the NEBOSH certificate.

Hi Forbes,

NEBOSH Certificate is good but expensive and 10days long.

We ideally look for a days course, just to cover safety committee reps roles and responsibilities etc..

Any way, thanks for your reply.

Regards,

Baski

One training provider for this type of training is Integra Training and Consulting. The course can be run at the workplace.

If its for management staff them how about the IOSH Managing safely? It can be 4 days long but its quite informative.

Also the IOSH Working Safely one.

I went on the TUC safety reps stage 1 and 2 only last year. I'm now undertaking the NEBOSH and find it incredibly more informative than what the TUC have to offer.

I must note that the the tutor was extremely union minded and was off the opinion if anything slightly broke any of the regulations he had a "Everybody out" policy ha
