A good one must always be site specific but having said that it should cover the following areas
People
Toilets
Welfare
First Aid
Emergency Arrangements
Site rules
Access and egress
Security
Storage
Housekeeping
Waste management
etc. etc.
The detail depends on the size of the job.

Hi Shaun,
IOSH Construction Specialist Group used to have a downloadable Induction Pack called "Construction Site Induction - Inductor's Guidance Notes". (Dated December 2005. I know that a lot of people found it very useful.
Perhaps the site Moderator(s) would consider having a copy put back into the "documents" sub-folder? If necessary I could supply them with a copy if one is not readily available.

Shaun,
give me an email address (preferably a temporary or disposable one with yahoo or google: not one that you regularly use - tons of junk mail) and I will email you whatI have.
