Posted By Alan Hoskins Does anyone know the status of the proposed HSE guidance on the application of the Noise at Work Regulations to the music industry? The consultation ended in October 2007 and the Regulations take effect in the sector from April... I have looked on the HSE website. Thanks Alan

Posted By Alan Hoskins Thanks Martin, I've tried that page and it gives no indication on when the guidance will be available nor any links to it. I was hoping that someone more closely involved might have some inside information... A

Posted By Martin J Morley Hi there, the HSE site mentioned talks about the Sound Advice consultation but does not seem to link to it. Go to http://www.soundadvice.info/index.htm to find 'the recommendations of the Music and Entertainment Sector Working Group' It's a very informative and useful site, but still leaves many practical questions unanswered. martin

Posted By Alan Hoskins Quite a bit of bed-time reading there Stephen... Potentially useful information, thanks, though I couldn't access the secure site. Alan
