All,
Can anyone assist me with EU, UK and Australian work at height standards?
I need to develop a proposal for my company on which standards to adopt.

What do you mean 'standards'?
The UK has laws but no ACOP. The EU is the same. Australia has OHS Regs 4D6 and the legally-enforceable AS/NZS standards which it refers to.

Perhaps, I should have ask for regulations. But, I am not pretty sure if both words are inter-changeable.

Afraid the words aren't interchangeable - you have to comply with regulations or you end up wearing handcuffs. 'Standards' are simply one of the possible ways to comply, but are not usually mandatory in Europe.
UK WAH Regs and EU Temporary Work at Height Directive are both linked from http://www.tagsafety.com/info/wahr/
Australian OSH Regs and the many state-specific variations are linked from http://www.latchways.com/default.aspx?item=31

There are 3 codes of practice published by British Standards Institute not sure if this is what you are after.
They are:-
BS 7883:2005 Code of practice for the design, selection, installation, use and maintenance of anchor devices conforming to BS EN 795.
BS 8437:2005 Code of practice for selection, use and maintenance of personal fall protection systems and equipment for use in the workplace.
BS 8454:2006 Code of practice for delivery of training and education for work at height and rescue.
This may assist.
