Fire tests on building materials and structures. Part 22: Methods for Determination of the Fire Resistance of Non-Load Bearing Elements of Construction. British Standards Institution,& BS EN 1634-1. British Standard EN 179 refers to the hardware on final exits as does British Standard EN 1125. I'm not guaranteeing there are no recent 'en' updates as this is from existing information I have and I don't have time to cross reference right now. Hope this helps? CFT

Posted By Denis Gregg If you already hold a fire certificate, then the law may require that you notify the local fire authority before making any changes to your fire precautions, that affect your terms and conditions. In any case you will find the fire authority helpful on this subject.
