I am looking for a breakaway training provider for some of our lone workers, who go into the homes of soem (very) unstable clients.
I'd be grateful if anyone can recommend any providers who they have used, and who will ensure that the training is tailored to our needs.
Does anyone know of any trainers who they'd recommend?
Al.

Hi, I did my city and guilds 7307 along with some fantastic guys who teach management of anger and aggression at Rampton Hospital, Nottinghamshire. We did a session of breakaway as a teaching practice and they were very good.
The also covered conflict management, identifying trigger signs and de-escalation , which is as important.
Not sure if they provide training for outside agencies.
Here is the link to the NHS Trust:-

Not sure who you need to speak to, but there are plenty of contact details.

Richard, I am currently doing some work with a charity in a similar position to you. They have good programmes in place and I can put you in touch with them if you (and they) wish. Email me.
