Posted By Dave w I currently work in the public sector and have been asked by one of our clients if we can compare our company accident statistics against similar companies. Does anyone know of websites/associations that allow their data to be available. We work in for local authority providing all of their street scene services, so highways, street cleansing, grounds maintenance type of information wold be useful. thanks in advance.

Posted By Dave Merchant Not something many private companies will want to admit, but you can get it from public sector operators (LAs etc.) via an FOI request. Also some of the big PLCs put summaries in their published annual reports.

Posted By Pat Hannaway Hi Dave, you could try the HSE statistics branch. They publish a lot of information and I know that some companies use the published figures as double or even treble their projected KPI's. Here is a quick link to the summary table. Note that you can expand on the industries by clicking on the boxes that have a cross in a small box. http://www.hse.gov.uk/statistics/tables/table1.htm Pat
