Posted By Lukasz Maybe somebody have inspection form specified to landfill sites? or any advice about particular things which I should be aware while preparing it? Thanks

Posted By Angus232 In the main inspection is as normal for any work place. However, Heavy plant and Traffic management particularly brake test areas are worth a look!

Posted By Ali You might get useful information from the Environment Agency about landfill sites as there are 2 main hazards - subsidence and trapped methane resulting from previous use.

Posted By Ron Hunter Lukasz, you have mentioned both "audit" and "inspection" in the same context of your request. I'm sure you are aware that the former is much more complex and "systems" driven that the latter. For me, for the purposes of an Inspection Checklist, I would consider all the control measures currently listed on all the Risk Assessments specific to the site and the activities on it (not forgetting unwanted activity associated with poor security) and derive a checklist from all the control measures which can relate to a "hazard spotting" type inspection activity (looking at "things" as opposed to "systems"). I hope that makes some sort of sense to you!
