Posted By Mitch Thanks but just a secure job would be nice, I would have thought there must be someone out there as all you tend to hear about the area is the killing of oil company workers and Internet fraud (they have moved on from the faxes of the 80's). On a serious note have you tried our foreign office or the Nigerian Embassy? Mitch

Posted By Adie Hi, When I was serving overseas with the FCO, I found that Group4 Securicor had an overseas department, so you may want to look there. They did training of locally employed guards for "ex-pat compounds, oil installations etc.

Posted By Rob T The main ones are CRG (Control Risk) as already mentioned, Armor Group and Drum Cussac. More specialised off shore stuff could be RCI (Risk Consultants International). Please do e-mail me if you want any info on those companies as I have used all of them at some time. Cheers Rob

Posted By johnwaterson2773 There are many organisations there operating but there is only one, legally, who is permitted to carry weapons, and it is none of those mentioned unless they have managed to obtain a licence recently. I can pass on your details or email me direct with what requirements you are after, training of guards, CP of clients etc. Hope this is of some help. Regards John

Posted By johnwaterson2773 Hi Johnny, Just spoken to my mate who owns the coy I was on about. If you email me direct then I can pass on his details. He is ex Military and we have worked together in the Middle East and is very professional, and as far as I know is the only Security Coy permitted to carry and operate with weapons in theatre. Tried the right click on your email address but doesn't work. John
