I do realise now that we have been providing far too much information in the Project Description box of the old style form. We would insert a description of the project in one or two short paragraphs that mirrors the the statement in the PCI. It is now clear from the new form that description is optional and i only need to put in a couple of words such as "Newbuild 0-5 storey houses" to describe a project consisting of Demolition, asbestos removal, refurbishment and Newbuild plus access roads for adoption and which will also include a 15 storey block of Appartments, with additional retail facilities.

Posted By Mitch Bob,
So that now it has been 'discussed'(under pressure for the HSE) everyone is happy?? Except the poor HSE guy who's getting kicked in the nuts.

Take your tongue out of your cheek - you could bite it off:-)
HSE really have made a mess of this and are trying to find a way out but not wanting to do it.

Posted By Robert K Lewis I see this refuses to die and we now have the HSE Construction Infonet stating "For the time being, old-style F10 forms or the website version can also be submitted to HSE". This no doubt means that someone somewhere in the HSE has made a decision that the regulations will be changed in the near future.
If it was not so serious it would be a splendid farce making Yes Minister pale into the background.
