Don't wory the more the merrier on this PR disaster by the HSE:-)

When the scannable form meets regulations and the HSE cease to think they can force a change in legislative requirements without changing the legislation then the industry might be more pleased. As it is the consultation was, as I said elsewhere, so secret even some of the consultees did not know they have been consulted.

In the meantime I think 2 page form to six pager is not about reducing bureaucracy and paperwork.

I think it would simply be used as the supporting evidence in other charges that would likely follow.

Behind any F10 I send in is either a client signature or authorisation to sign on behalf of. The latter is reserved for those clients we know well. Somewhere if there is an F10 there is a signature. My chief worry is those inspectors who do not consult the database, or Bootle is several months behind in entry of data, and challenge sites that the project has not been notified. I think many in the HSE also fail to realise that the client/other signature is only actually required once and this may be on the initial notification hence the PC copy may be the additional notice and hence it would be without a signature.

Unfortunately this disaster that the HSE have single handedly constructed, excuse pun, will not be easily reversed and the reputation of their organisation will start to drop in the eyes of many in the industry.
