Can anybody enlighten me as to the effective implementation of the F10.policy. How does it constitute, or compliment a safe system of work?
Is it not just a worthless (and not totally informative)piece of paper?

What F10 policy?

F10s have been around for more than 40 years and prove useful to the enforcers to know where jobs are.

Useful on site to know who is in control and who client is as some contractors do not even tell their subbies this information.

Still think it is another paper exercise that serves no purpose. The information relating to Client and CDMC/PC is triplicated anyway. I have the same reservations on the statutory H & S Law poster. nThe one thing guaranteed to turn observers away from signage is too much of it, this is not helped by the indifference shown towards H & S literature in general. Still nice to know some people see it is as worthwhile.

As Robert has pointed out it is used by HSE inspectors for a number of reasons.
