Hi There,

I have produced a simple training matrix for my organisation that you can have. It's just a table basically in a word document.
my e-mail is j.ronan@wlct.org if you want me to send it to you.

Hi Heathrow,

about 18 months ago I got a template from Jason Gould off this website. I still use it and find it is not only easy to use, but also easy to explain to the non H & S people out there.

If Jason sees this posting I am sure he will assist. If not email me direct and I will forward your details to him. However it is not my original work and I am not prepared to pass it on, without his permission.

Regards

Clive

How can anyone elses training matrix be of use to you?

Presumably your work, workforce, structures, locations are unique to you.

Your training need requirements will come out of your risk assessments, a matrix is simply these requirements in list form tabled against your staff/teams/locations etc depending on however you are set up.

Smiff, I'm guessing it's the format that will be of use. If you're not pc literate, any template will save many a wasted hour.

Thanks Clive for your kind comments regarding the matrix I produced sometime ago.

I do not have it at hand to directly send to the original poster so feel free to distribute this to anyone whom you feel genuinely needs it.

I was a early version that let you decide on training or competence to me measured/reviewed and then subject to a few user inputs, allowed viewers to see a percentage of the training objectives met etc.

Anyone with some nifty excel skills could easily progress this to also be date specific and allow each individuals competence level to also be shown.

I was planning on re-visiting the format and adapting to the CDM competence requirements for all duty holders

I would like to thank Clive for sending me a copy of the training matrix, and to Jason for allowing me to use it.
It is an excellent document, and easy to understand.
Once again, thanks guys.
