Posted By Lukasz 2 questions: What are british standards for scaffoldings? Do scaffolding holding NF E 85200 (french standards as I believe) are suitable to use in UK? Thanks

Posted By Robert K Lewis The UK specification is BS EN 12811 for system scaffolds. TG20 is written for tube and fitting structures to meet the 12811 requirements although it is not a formal code of practice. I am not sure whether the French Standard you quote is the 12811 equivalent. BS EN 12811 or its equivalent derivatives in Europe will be identical in their requirements. TG 20 is UK only. Bob
