Posted By garyh Am I right in thinking that HSE does not produce a fire ACOP, instead we use the ACOPs produced in support of the RRO 2005?

Posted By water67. here in scotland there are appendices to the fire scotland act that give guidance etc similar to an acop for different types of premises e.g. residential, places of entertainment etc. I assume the english version will be the same.

you are correct that there is no acop for fire safety and we use the rro.

Posted By ClaireL The HSE does not produce a fire ACOP because the HSE does not enforce fire legislation in this country.
That answer your question!

Posted By Amandac Gary The answer to your question is: The HSE do not issue ACOPs or guidance on the RR(FS)O 2005 because as a previous responder has stated they do not enforce it. This piece of legislation is enforced by your local Fire and Rescue Service. The guidance which accompanies the Order can be found via the link below to the Communities website. http://www.communities.g...iresafety/firesafetylaw/
