Hi

Before anyone say's GREEN, does anyone know what shade, number or name of green should be used for the background colour on H&S information signs such as Fire Exits and First Aid Signs?

Thanks in advance.

Might be on the right track if you can get hold of BS 5499-5:2002 or someone who can look up for you?

Thanks for the pointer.

Does anyone have a copy of the BS they can quickly look at?

BS 5378 is (I believe) still the relevant standard. This gives the following BS 381C tint references:
RED = 537G or 539G; YELLOW = 355 or 309 (G or M); GREEN = 228G; BLUE = 108G.

Hope this helps.

I get asked that a lot:-

Green = Pantone PMS 356C, or CMYK 100:0:91:27
Red = PMS 485C, or CMYK 0:100:91:0
Blue = PMS 300C, or CMYK 100:43:0:0
Yellow = PMS 116C, or CMYK 0:15:94:0
