Posted By MICHAEL T We have a winch that is an 'integral' part (of a mobile telephone mast). Would this come under the inspection requirements of LOLER? If so would it come under Lifting Equipment (12 months) or Lifting Accessories (6 months)? Regards Mike

Posted By Mitch Michael, No, see section 28 'Excluded lifting Equipment' Mitch Though as good practise I would certainly train the staff to do pre-use inspections and ask your insurers what they would expect under your policy. Mitch Spell chech still not working

Posted By MICHAEL T To clarify this is a mobile (mobile) telephone mast. These are deployed to site and then we use the in-built winch to wind up the tower. Regards Mike
