Posted By Max Ellis Whilst I was doing my environmental diploma my leturer used an only fool and horses episode to demonstrate some points, with regard to polution and controlled waste. A long shot but any only fool and horses fans out there remember the episode with drums of waste they were trying to dispose off. If so what episode is it. Thanks in advance for any help given. Max

Posted By Merv Newman What does one do with horse droppings nowadays ? Are they "hazardous biological waste" ? And does manure spread on the garden constitute an environmental hazard ? Merv

Posted By Dave Wilson Merv Animal faeces are not hazardous waste as in EWC list of waste are 02 01 06 with NO asterix beside them. If you put them on your roses then its not waste but fertilizer. the local 'chasers' can't call them Hunt put it outside their gates for local gardeners to use free of charge. Dont know why anyone would do gardening anyway! Note to self watch more Fools and Horses

Posted By Lilian McCartney Glad you got the episode name, I was going to say its the one where they bottled the water and were selling it and it glowed in the dark!! I remember someone asking if a horse was transporting hazardous waste! I've just finished presenting a H&S Awareness course for Managers and it went well so tired but still feeling good so will go home and try and find this episode to keep me cheery!
