We use a Land Rover with a straight / rigid tow bar to recover any broken down company cars or Ford Transit vans.

I'm trying to find out if there are any limitations to the use of a straight / rigid tow bar, such as maximum speed or distance or roads not to be used on such as motorways?

Steve.

Thanks Mitch, although that link was mainly for towing trailers or caravans and not for towing cars or vans using a straight bar.
