Hello there fellow IOSH members!
As you can tell from the name: I'm kinda new to this H&S stuff and am needing a bit of assistance.
I've been to a number of H&S presentations and am trying to compile a library of useful resources to be used in the future. At these presentations i noted that funny safety / incident videos have been used for two reasons: 1) To lighten the mood; 2) To sometimes get a relevant message across in a light hearted way. Does anyone out there know of a free website where i can download such 'chuckle' videos for future use. I know about copyrights etc and am not wanting to break the law, but would love to know if there are any free sites out there that i can download from. Have searched through Youtube and struggled to find any good ones.
Please help.
Ta very much for your anticipated help.

I use a few but for fire training the Faulty Towers fire test clip from "The Germans" goes down well and gets the message across.
I do drugs awareness training and use an Ali G clip from his early "Dangerous" talking to Professor John Henry from the National Poisons Information Service about drugs. really lightens the mood before you get onto the heavy stuff.

Newbie,
try looking on the Government web site 'public information films' these are short stories about safety and others, 'clunk click every trip' and you may remember Jo and Petunia - if your old enough!
also try the 'Foods Standards Agency' they have some cartoons with respect to food safety and hygiene
good luck
richard.
