Posted By holmezy Xiao, if this is a genuine cry for help, then you would probably be better off searching the internet. I'm sure there are lots of examples that you may find in the UK, however postage and packing may make it unviable. Coveralls like F1 drivers..... sounds good to me..... will I benefit directly from the sponsorship? C'mon guys.... you've got to give him 10/10 for perseverance and whilst I don't agree with some of his requests, (especially for ready made RA'S or Shell safety manuals which probably won't be relevant to his operations in Hong Kong)they do bring a wry smile to my face!! He's only doing what we keep advising folks on the careers forum to do......keep going, don't give up, you'll get there in the end, etc etc. There's no harm in asking, after all don't we safety bods say that "there's no such thing as a bad question"? We are free to offer advice or, in the cases of blatant requests for "ready made" RA's etc, not offer advice or provide information.....its our choice! Yes, its a worry that we may be providing some cowboy with an easy few quid without actually understanding what he is doing....so don't do it, but also don't get upset about it! Its a public forum, open to all and sundry. Until all of the , dare I say "proper H+S bods" only respond to the questions on the members forum, we will always risk these sorts of requests. Nothing, other than wanting to be helpful, a want to display our knowledge, or just a desire to show off, forces us to respond.
