Posted By LL1921 Hi, we are looking to award a contract for the management of our water systems in relation to Legionella. Can anyone tell me how I would be able to find out if the companies are registered anywhere to kow that they are somewhat certified to do this kind of work, other than looking at references or experience. I am not sure if there is a governing body that they should be registered with?
Thanks for any help. Laura

Posted By stephen d clarke Hi, I think the Water Management Society and British Association for Chemical Specialities (WMS/BACS) have a Code of Conduct that should help, no legal status though. The HSE document ACoP and Guidance L8 Legionnaires' disease is very helpful aswell. Steve
