Crane we hope to use is being used by Principal Contractor for other works. Crane that want us to use will mean that all offloading and erection will be done blind and radios need to be used. Coupled with the other crane that will be working at the same time. Are original method of working stated we would use the first crane (i.e. not blind), but we are concerned that now all operations will be done blind. I have my own thoughts but would like to hear from others? Cheers Ken

Posted By steven bentham Ken Are you the appointed [or one of the appointed persons]? Do the cranes cross lifting zones? Do they have proximity sensors? Is the crane you are working nearer to your offloading point [giving a greater margin in its duties]? Are you operating the crane, slinger/banksmen? Sorry to ask more questions
