Hi all,
I am looking at finding some non-slip surfacing for a permanent scaffold platform.
we have a confined spaces training course run from our office, but the wire mesh over the boards is lifting now and i fear becoming a trip hazard.
the boards can become mossy so need to prevent slipping ... but naturally - can't do anything that may affect the permanent visibility of the boards for defects etc...
any suggestions would be helpful!

Quick coat of wood varnish with a handful of dry sand in to it works wonders.

This 'permanent' platform could be replaced with an open-mesh galvanised steel construction floor? Less problems then with moss, water or ice, and less routine maintenance.

I saw... permanent scaffold platforms in the past.... when I enquired regarding regular inspection I tended to see lots of scratching of heads and smoothing of beards!
Long term solution as described above.. although would be hard work if expenditure is tight as it likely is with the current state of the economy!
