You have been on site, carried out a site inspection and recorded your findings, you may have these triplicated.

when you get back to the office how do you present your reports? (i.e. one of the triplicate papers etc..)

just wondering!

I have a set format for typing out my reports. Once created I scan into my Reports file for the site and include my written notes. If you don't have a pro-forma for a layout I can probably send you an idea of the one I have but I don't know how helpful it will be to you.

Cheers

I have a simple check list of 5 pages and it covers the main issues on site. (Probably not everything but it suits me).

After a site inspection I complete a final sheet of recommendations and that contains all main issues, not everything as I believe in hitting the major issues.

I then go to the PC and make a neater version of the form and email it to the main recipient.(The boss).

I am in the process of getting quotes for pre carbonated pads so that I can leave a copy of the main issues on site with the site manager as a duty of care thing. I can then just "scan to email" the sheet of main findings.

I don't believe in hiding anything from management, why should I?

Agree Crim. It's not about hiding. My post is more about the way it is presented.
