Posted By Samson Chan Hi all, My staff joined a trial of wearing bump cap. The feedback was negative. They claimed the cap tie can't be adjusted to suitable size and loosen easily when head up. Safety helmet is also not appropriate for our indoor telecommunication installation / maintenance work. Could anyone give some advice to me please? Thanks Samson

Posted By justgossip If I might ask, given your work indoors what are the chances of an injury, and how severe an injury might you reasonable expect. Seems silly, but would a wooly hat deal with minor bumps etc garry

Posted By Tommo123 We had a similar trial with bump caps and many staff complained at how uncomfortable the caps were.We took the findings back to the manufacture who made some slight changes and now all our guys are issued with the bump caps. If head protection is required it's worth working with the people who have to wear them and come up with a cap that they are happy to wear.
