Posted By b12 John, I'm sure you have checked these already but http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu/general_info.htm and http://www.who.int/csr/d...e/swineflu/en/index.html I would advise the employees to monitor their health as per the information sheets and make sure they have the facilities to undertake the basic hygiene requirements(Sorry don't know where they are but the main one is access to clean water for hand washing). Check what medical facilities you have available for them ,if required, and make sure they are aware that if they suffer symptoms who they are to report too for further advice. Speak to your Occupational Health provider to see what medical alerts they have and what they advise. As a result of the media's Bird Flu scare mongering (personnel opinion) lots of info on putting together pandemic flu procedures was put out there by DoH, HPA etc... so would have a look at them. To bring people back or to leave them their is something you need to decide as a company and would have your occupational health involved as depends on your activities in the affected country but would have a contingency plan in case you need to do it at some point.

Posted By b12 Sorry, Just realised I got your post the wrong way around and it is people coming to you not you going to them - apologies. Foreign Office should be able to provide more info for persons travelling from those countries to UK.
