Posted By bereznikov Just in case people cannot access the page (I know i can't due to internet filters at work sometimes: "A man has died in an accident at a paper mill in Devon. Police and four fire crews were called to the accident at Arjo Wiggins in Harford Road on Tuesday evening. The local man, who has not been named but was in his 40s, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital but later died from his injuries. The cause of the accident is unknown and an investigation has begun, police said. The Health and Safety Executive has been notified. Union co-operation: The coroner has also been informed, police said. No-one was available for comment from Arjo Wiggins. The Unite union said it had been informed that one of its members had died after being trapped in a papermaking machine. It said its officials were on site and had been in contact with the company, the Health & Safety Executive, the Employers Federation, the Confederation of Paper Industries. Tony Burke, the union's Assistant General Secretary, said: "Our condolences will be sent to our member's family and they will, of course, receive the full support of our union." Seems there is no real information about it yet, but my deepest sympathies go out to the family of the deceased. bereznikov
