Hello everybody, I could do with a bit of help.
I was in our engineering workshop the other day when I noticed an engineer linishing a rotating spindle held in a chuck by applying a hand held strip of emery. This is obviously not a satisfactory situation and I took the appropriate action. So I was wondering if anybody knows of a proprietary piece of equipment that can be used for this type of operation.
Thanks for your help.

EIS 2 doesn't prohibit this long-standing practice, it does describe how to do it safely though.
The toolpost solution won't always work.

I reckon it will suit our purposes. It is certainly better than the other 2 alternatives described, an emery board or a nutcracker arrangement. I wouldn't fancy using those.
