Posted By Andrew W I wonder if anyone could help. I'm looking for advice or direction towards any sources that could help me put an information pack together for some employees who may be going to work in much much warmer and sandier climes. I've already tried the HSE website but as expected it provides advice more towards the UK weather. Google wasn't much help either (unless I used the wrong key words) Sources of printable info on vaccinations, diseases, dehydration, sunstroke, acclimatisation would be very welcome (so long as it doesn't breach the AUG's). If any fellow professionals with experience in this area want to mail me directly please feel free. Thanks in anticipation Andy

Posted By b12 Andrew, Try the following links: http://chppm-www.apgea.army.mil/ http://www.cdc.gov/ http://www.who.int/ith/en/index.html Travax is a subscription site used by health professionals. Also speak to MOD Defence Medical Services http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/microsite/dms about some medical intel There are some companies who will also provide info on this type of thing (they will also look at security and other stuff) but can't remember their name - can PM you if you want it.
