Posted By Edward9 Can anyone tell me if the below statement is still correct?
• If there is more than one escape route, the travel distance should not normally be more than 45 metres (around 25 metres in areas where the risk of fire is high and about 60 metres in areas where the risk of fire is very low).
I have checked Doc B of the Building Regs and can find no mention of the 60 metres rule for low risk fire areas.
I am specifically looking for the maximum allowed distance for a chilled warehouse environment where there is more than one fire exit available.
