Posted By FAH First, with reference to the newly posted AUG 6; I'm still unclear as to how, or if, it applies to my query - so let's see. If the Moderators wish to act on this, I would appreciate a clear publicly stated rationale for that action. With reference to the recent, very public exposure of the organisation [and the publicly identified active support of large number of so-called "H&S Champions" held up as examples of how to do it by the HSE] running what the UK Office of the Information Commissioner has described as a "blacklist". It has been publicly ackowledged that the list includes very large numbers of construction & off-shore workers, but I suspect that there are other categories of person whose information has been used in the same way. Following conversations with a range of people recently, I have been led to ponder whether there are any Health, Safety, Fire Or Environmental professionals on those lists as well. Can anyone provide any legal means of gaining that information please? Frank Hallett

Posted By A Campbell Frank, Until someone is able to 'stumble upon' these secret lists and show them to the public forum I doubt they will appear!

Posted By Raymond Rapp Frank Excellent point. Whether the information is available or not it has been alleged that those on the blacklist raised inter alia health and safety concerns and they were possibly h&s reps. It is interesting that the HSE have made no comment, given the potential safety implications of this practice. Perhaps someone from IOSH would like to take up the gauntlet and give them a prompt? Ray

Posted By martinw Frank I know of no easy way of getting this info. Individuals concerned if they are on the list can contact the Information Commissioner's Office on the helpline given on their website. I believe that only individuals mentioned on the list will have this information confirmed then a copy passed to them. Legal teams will obviously have copies for the crown court case which is pending, but other than that the ICO is planning to destroy the database on or after September 1 2009. Martin
