Posted By rees davies Hi all. Just checking on what may be a silly question. Where do fingers and toes end (extending from the nail end). Is it below or at the top knuckle joint or do they continue upwards until joining the wrist or ankle? Thanks in advance.

Posted By D H I am intrigued by your question which made me think twice! : -)) My fingers attach to my hand - which attaches to the wrist. BUT - an injury to my hand may also include damage to my fingers. And if I break my knuckles - which attach my fingers to the hand, then I am not so sure anymore!! Good Friday style question - even though its only Thursday. Nice one! Dave

Posted By TDsafety Well i believe the best thing to do is decide that the fingers are classed as the phalanges. Now google a picture of all the bones in the hand (or foot)and see where these digits begin and end.
