Posted By Angela Hayden Would anybody have a questionnaire/check list for skin checks covering the basics of early identification of skin problems. I have tried looking for a standard questionnaire but I can't find one. I realise I would have to adapt this and make it specific to the individual and/or company and products in use etc., But I need a starting point. Many thanks Angela.

Posted By martinw Angela I suspect that you have already looked at this - but if not, navigate around the following: http://www.hse.gov.uk/hairdressing/gallery.htm which gives pics on that page and the preceding one on the site gives lists of causes. I know that it does not give a ready made checklist but if you can't find one ready made, you may be able to construct one from those two web pages and then relate it to other industries as required. cheers Martin

Posted By Angela Hayden Thanks Martin This was a bit more helpful yes - the target audience are printers - so didn't look at the hairdressing bit, and it does give more information than if you look at just the printers section. I'll have a go at putting one together. Ang.

Posted By Angela Hayden Thanks Flic - just the sort of thing I was looking for - not relevant to the trade, however, good starting point. Hefty document mind, but loads of good info in it too. Ang.

Posted By Chris Packham Angela Have been away for two weeks, so unable to respond until now. There is more to skin checks than meets the eye. A questionnaire or check list is only an aid. As I don't know how much you already know about the skin and whqt I assume will be a visual check, you should be aware that it is easy to look at the skin and reach a false conclusion about what you are seeing. If you feel you would like to know more feel free to contact me off the forum. Chris
