Not sure if you mean production of windows or installation /survey/ repair

There are loads of lone working policies on the web, the trouble is the majority are written for and by large organisations and may be a bit over the top…. assuming its lone mobile workers you are concerned with I think something out of the housing repair sector would give you the best idea

To understand the issues more fully take a look at:

Don’t forget your lone working policy and procedure should be based on and proportional to your own risk assessment, which needs to take into account:

o The workplace
o The work activity
o The equipment to be used
o The work pattern
o Any risk of violence
o Training needs
o The lone workers capabilities
o Communication and supervision
o Emergency arrangements
