Posted By Fred Pratley Schedule 2 - "failure of any load bearing part" is reportable. You could perhaps argue the bolt is not load bearing (sorry, not familiar with FLT construction) but assuming the FLT has been used and examined properly etc so there is no obvious reason for the bolt to snap, perhaps there is an underlying problem which may affect others, so I would report it even if RIDDOR does not technically apply.
