Does anyone have any comments on the need to use safety specs/goggles under visors for tasks such as strimming grass?

An ex-colleague was carrying out a noise assessment on the use of strimmers and he reported that canine faeces in the mouth is very unpleasant! He subsequently always wore full-face protection for such work.

Been there before - one reason why we don't recommend the mesh visors.

Its good practice as some visors, particularly without chin guards, are quite loose fitting around the face.
That said its difficult to get wearers used to the concept that they need two pairs of eye protection,
