Can't see the footings, but from the Echo video it looks like it's gone at the base of the tower

Posted By jon_hall Rumour in Liverpool is that they may end up having no choice but to demolish the apartment block. Not been past there for a few days but if it's the building i think it is, was looking to possibly rent (one of a few blocks i am looking at) there next year when my current place lease ends. Thankfully,not as bad as it could have been if it had failed in the evening. Hopefully the crane driver will recover. Only a five minute or so walk from the crane failure a couple of years ago when cran driver was seriously injured and one worker was killed. (which was over the road from where i used to rent)
